Fundraising

On Wednesday 19th February staff from Market Hill 8-8 Centre, Birches Medical Practice their patients joined The Mayor and local favourite Scunny Bunny to raise awareness and money for The Crosby Community Association, a local charity based on Frodingham Road. They hosted a 9.00am to 5.00pm Cycle Challenge within The Ironstone Centre and there was plenty of peddle power on offer to keep moral going and the coins dropping in the collection boxes.

Scunny Bunny entertained the kids and took his turn on the bike along with other activities like face painting, henna and a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses that were happy to support the cause.

At the end of the event £237 was raised bringing the yearly total so far to a fabulous £438.26. More events and prizes to come so keep an eye out either of the practices or on the Market Hill Facebook page: www.facebook.com/Market-Hill-8-8-Centre-Scunthorpe-110660107052600.
